I GOTTA HAVE ONE.
*weebly does a pretty fabulous job of ruining the color of photos*
This semester I'm enrolled in an experimental processes class (which for the most part I enjoy). So far we have learned the technique of cyanotypes, van dyke prints and salted paper prints. For this class we create digital negatives and then use those digital negatives to print in the darkroom. Here are some comparisons of my original digital images next to my final darkroom prints.
Thanks to everyone who has helped me with these projects this semester!
TO BE CONTINUED
The coolest time with the coolest people.
We got little sleep, only ate local, shopped like we were rich and famous, got backpack tan lines, wore shorts, got sand in our converse, took some photos, ate a corn dog on the beach, met the coolest people, hiked through a million dollar neighborhood to see the hollywood sign, ate animal style in-n-out, walked an hour to see the sunset, stood on top of the world, took some more photos & cried when we had to leave.
ps, the best part....THE GRASS IS GREEN IN CALIFORNIA
Finals were over, I had free time, I didn't know what to do....
So I texted my friend Abby....she's always down for an adventure.
I had a vision for this image, so we waited for the perfect light and snapped some photos (and got a few honks doing so).
This blog is a result of boredom.... but I'm not complaining. I need somewhere to house my adventures.
